HYATT’S ONENINEONE – A HIDDEN GEM GETS A THUMBS UP FOR ME

I loved it much I just had to come back for a second time in a few days. Its a lot more private then the other crazy restaurants in Joburg, not noisy and the food is kinda amazing too.

Hyatt’s premium restaurant onenineone, hosted an exquisite themed Kitchen Party last night for diners and I was part of the few lucky ones who booked in time.

For only R380pp, we were treated to thoughtfully crafted dishes by resident Chef Xavier Francis.

On the menu was Vanilla and Pynbos glazed Peking Duck, Porchetta which is twice baked smoked Stanford Souffle with lettuce forma, Banana Flambe, Hot Smoked Melon and Salt Baked Cob. All super delicious.

This lovely selection of dishes was topped off with refreshing wine that kept flowing throughout the night. Sadly hubby doesn’t drink so I have his share too. Guests were kept on the feet by the beautiful sounds of live music that filled the air. Again – not too loud.
