Taking place 2-5 October 2025 at Cloof Wine Estate, this milestone edition of Rocking the Daisies (#RTD2025) will feature world-class production, immersive festival experiences, and a lineup shaping the future of live music in Africa.
For the first time ever, Summer Walker is bringing her chart-topping R&B sound to South African shores, headlining RTD 2025 in what promises to be a moment in hit-story. With hit albums like Over It and Still Over It, she has become one of the most influential voices in contemporary R&B, making her the perfect artist to lead RTD’s 20th-anniversary celebrations.
As Africa’s most progressive music festival, Rocking the Daisies has hosted global superstars including Stormzy, Mac Miller, and Ayra Starr, while elevating local talent and pushing boundaries in festival innovation. RTD 2025 will continue that legacy—bigger, bolder, and louder than ever.
In addition Summer Walker will officially be bringing her magnetic live show to Gauteng. The global R&B sensation will take centre stage at In The City this October at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria – presented by STAY LOW in collaboration with LVRN (Love Renaissance).

In The City, Johannesburg’s premier boutique live music experience, was launched in 2018 to bring global artists to local audiences in curated, high-production settings. This year’s edition levels up once more – pairing international excellence with intimate scale to deliver an unforgettable night of music, connection, and cultural energy.
This landmark event is presented by STAY LOW – a Johannesburg-based record label and management company under the Steyn Entertainment umbrella – and LVRN, the Atlanta-born creative studio and label that’s home to Summer Walker, 6LACK, and other game-changing artists. Distributed by Sony Music’s The Orchard, this collaboration continues to bridge African and global creative economies through shared stages, bold storytelling, and genre-defying music.
