This October, Rocking the Daisies celebrates 20 years as one of South Africa’s most iconic festivals. Marking two decades of unforgettable memories, music, and culture, the 2025 campaign launches under the theme: “20 YEARS IN BLOOM” .
More than a milestone, this theme reflects a generation in full bloom. It is a tribute to the roots of Daisies and a reflection of the growth and vibrancy of its community. Since 2005, Rocking the Daisies has stood as a cultural landmark, uniting local and international acts with South Africa’s most expressive, creative, and conscious audiences.
STEP INTO THE FESTIVAL THROUGH A NEW LENS
Introducing Ervè Bukasa, your Daisies Captain!
To lead the anniversary celebrations, Rocking the Daisies has appointed content creator and digital sensation Ervè Bukasa (also known as EB The Kid) as its first-ever Daisies Captain.
With more than 17 million views across platforms, a YouTube silver plaque, collaborations with global creators such as Beta Squad, and a distinctive voice in youth culture, Ervè has made his mark on South African media. Known for his signature blend of humour, curiosity, and social commentary, he brings people together through content that resonates.
As Daisies Captain, EB will guide fans through the full festival experience. From campsite rituals to main stage energy, exclusive creator content and candid backstage moments, he will take audiences deeper into the world of Daisies with his signature authenticity and curiosity. Expect behind-the-scenes access, festival storytelling, and some unexpected moments only he could deliver.
BLOOM IN STYLE: FASHION RETURNS TO THE RUNWAY
After last year’s “In The Stars” theme, this year sees a vibrant celebration of florals, growth, and self-expression through the return of the Rocking the Daisies x GALXBOY Festival Fashion Show. Serving as the final showcase for the Festival Fashion Talent Search, the runway will spotlight fresh South African designers whose work embodies the essence of blooming.
From bold prints to botanical textures, fashion at Daisies becomes an extension of the theme. This year, attendees are invited to arrive adorned in their floral best, ready to celebrate 20 years of expression, identity, and creativity.
