This December Jameson Irish Whiskey will be bringing the festive spirit to Joburgand Durban through the Jameson Festive Market. Ready to Spread The Cheers in both cities, merrymakers can expect an experiential bonanza with merch, personalisation stations and activations complimenting tastings and engaging live music.
Kicking things off in Joburg on Saturday 6 December, the Jameson Festive Market presents the lighting of the iconic Jameson Festive Tree at Melrose Arch scheduled between 6 and 7pm, while the tree lighting ceremony in Durban will take place on Wednesday 10 December at Palm Boulevard, Umhlanga Ridge.
The Jameson Festive Market will put exceptional cocktails and daily tasting sessions at the heart of the experience. Guests can enjoy beautifully crafted serves and sample Jameson Original, Jameson Triple Triple and Jameson Select Reserve across multiple dedicated tasting stations. The market will also feature branded multi-sensory experiences, interactive games, themed quizzes, and live mixologist showdowns, with each stand offering unique flavour infusions inspired by diverse international cultures.
The Global Cheers Stand will whet tastebuds further as chefs create Jameson-infused dishes from South Africa, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Ireland and the USA. Alongside this quintessentially global Jameson experience, the Jameson Festive Market will be soundtracked by some joyous performances by popular local musicians.
In Joburg the Skinny & Kay Gig will get the festivities going on 7 December with Kutlwano on 13 December, Homie Lover Friends on 20 December and the talented DJ Buhle gracing the stage on 27 December. Durban will welcome Angel on 13 December before the much-loved DJ Monde will help Spread The Cheers on 20 December.
