Woodrock Animal Rescue is delighted to announce the return of its much-loved Pop-Pups from this Saturday, 10 January, once again bringing rescue dogs into the heart of Johannesburg’s suburbs and inviting the public to connect, engage and fall in love.
Designed to make adoption accessible, joyful and community-driven, Woodrock’s Pop-Pups offer a rare opportunity to meet rescue dogs in relaxed, family-friendly environments — from playful puppies to soulful adult dogs, all waiting for their forever homes.
Parktown North: A New Urban Green Setting
In Parktown North, the Woodrock Pop-Pups open at Nine Yards, the newly launched lifestyle precinct neighbouring The GardenShop nursery.
Nestled at the foot of an urban green development, the setting boasts landscaped pathways, shaded seating areas, outdoor dining spaces and pockets of lush urban gardens – an idyllic backdrop for spending meaningful time with rescue dogs.

Fourways: A Familiar Favourite Returns
Further north, Woodrock’s Pop-Pups also return to the much-loved Bark Park at Fourways Crossing, a favourite destination for dog lovers.
