Telemundo (DSTV 118) today announced the premiere date of its new series Love of My Life, starting 23 February, with new episodes every night at 9 PM until the season finale on 5 June 2026. This series stars heartthrob Iván Sánchez (Backseat Fighter, My Fault) alongside Angélica Celaya (Jenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio, Constantine), Mauricio Islas (Lady of Steel, The Spring) and Catherine Siachoque (Dark Desire, Behind Closed Doors) in the antagonist roles.
The series’ renowned lead cast also features Patricia Reyes Spíndola (Frida, Los Motivos de Luz), David Ostrosky (The House of Flowers, In the Name of Love), Rodrigo Murray (Amores Perros, Los Hilos del Pasado), Norma Angélica (The Air I Breathe, Run Coyote Run), Vanessa Díaz (Anything But Plain, Armas de Mujer), Jason Romo (The Lord of the Skies), Rosalinda Rodríguez (Jenni Rivera, Mariposa de Barrio), Oswaldo Zárate (Acechado), and Felipe Betancourt (Lady of Steel, Loli’s Luck).
Love of My Life’s plot centres on Ricardo Oribe (Iván Sánchez), a successful businessman devoted to his family and madly in love with his beautiful wife Daniela Millán (Angélica Celaya), an aspiring actress. Ricardo’s life takes a turn when he suffers the ultimate betrayal by his best friend Emilio (Mauricio Islas), who attempts to kill him in order to take over his business empire and the family he never had. Even though his family and friends believe he has passed, Ricardo is in fact still alive but suffering from amnesia. Over the course of 15 years, Ricardo undergoes various physical changes and gets his memory back. Determined to recuperate everything he has lost; he assumes a new identity as Pablo Silva to avoid falling into the hands of the authorities after Emilio’s wrongdoing. Willing to risk it all to regain the love of his life, he returns to reconnect with his wife, children and friends, but must be sure to remain incognito to keep himself and his loved ones free from danger.
The star-studded cast also includes special performances by Litzy (Al Otro Lado del Muro), Pepe Gámez (False Identity, Jenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio), Ana Lorena Sánchez (Here I Am, Tierra de Reyes), Norkys Batista (De Todas Maneras Rosa), Simone Marval (Club 57), Vin Ramos (She’s Gotta Have It), and Katia Bada (40 y 20).
An original idea by Mario Schajris, Love of My Life was developed and written by Daniel Alfonso Rojas, Alberto Gonze and Mario Schajris. This series is directed by Sergio Busco, Eduardo Ripari, Ricardo Schwarz and Alfredo Hueck. Elizabeth Suárez serves as general producer and Marco Santana, Karen Barroeta and Miguel Varoni hold the executive producer roles for Telemundo Global Studios.
