Season 3 of Whitstable Pearl returns to Universal TV later this month. The third installment of the beloved crime drama premieres on Tuesday 27 May, with new episodes airing every Tuesday at 8pm until 1 July 2025.
In Season Three, Pearl is fully immersed in her private investigating, leaving most of the running of the restaurant to Dolly and Ruby. Pearl is still with her teacher boyfriend Tom when the season begins, but this relationship will be tested as he pushes to take the relationship to another level. Mike has been away for a few months and arrives back a changed man – leaner, fitter, and more Zen. But will this last?
The series arc steers away from the will-they-won’t-they element of Season Two. There is still a deep connection between them, but Pearl’s concern is more about Mike’s state of mind. The daily grind of police work soon tarnishes his newly found calm. As their paths continually cross, solving Whitstable crimes, Pearl is determined to help Mike find closure for his wife’s death and help him gain some inner peace.
