by

Last night was a hive of glamour, energy and editorial moments, as South African media powerhouse Nomalanga Shozi stepped onto the global stage as a featured guest of H&M at London Fashion Week, representing their “The London Issue” showcase with signature flair, purpose, and unmistakable authority.

Presented by 1664 Blanc, London Fashion Week is more than just glitz and runway lights. With the City Wide Celebration bringing fashion, culture, and creative activation to London, Liverpool, Manchester, and Newcastle, this season champions visibility, voice, and self-expression – values that resonate deeply with H&M’s “The London Issue” showcase, and with Nomalanga Shozi’s enduring creative voice.

As part of the showcase, Shozi stepped into the full London Fashion Week experience, joining the Fashion & the Media panel at 180 Strand, attending H&M’s hybrid runway show clad in a striking H&M Rokh leather cut out blazer jacket dress, and celebrating at the exclusive invitation-only after-party where she was spotted rubbing shoulders with fashion’s top tier such as Nigerian-American digital fashionista and model Wisdom Kaye, British model and footballer Romeo Beckham, and American model, influencer, and comedian Alex Consani.

It was a night filled with fashion, culture, and community rolled into truly unforgettable moment.

“London Fashion Week is an institution and being here with H&M celebrates our ten-year partnership – from the moment they entered South Africa, I’ve been part of their journey. Everyone knows I love elevated fashion and expressive hair, and this is the platform to express my point of view while connecting South Africa to the global conversation,” says Shozi.

With collections launching globally, Shozi got an exclusive preview of H&M’s Studio collection that launches next week in South Africa, as well as the Autumn/Winter 2025 collection South African customers will see next March. H&M’s marquee moments extend well beyond the catwalk, and as friend of the brand, Shozi stands as a symbol of style, culture, and identity bridging continents.
