New names, new energy
Egg Beauty, a fresh beauty and wellness brand, has just opened, bringing global trends to the local market. Additionally, a standalone Birkenstock store opened its doors, offering its internationally recognised footwear that blends comfort and style.
For those with a sweet tooth, Ivy Pops is now serving up everything from iconic favourites to inventive new confections. Located opposite The Fun Company, this sweet store offers a colourful escape where dessert dreams come true. Plus, those on the healthy side of life will be delighted to know that Faithful to Nature has opened its doors, bringing its trusted range of natural and sustainable living products to The Zone.
The momentum will continue with Roti & Chai, a dynamic food concept serving bold flavors inspired by authentic street food, that will be opening soon.
Earlier this year, Pret A Manger, the international favourite for wholesome food on the go, opened at The Zone, and Wedgewood opened a concept boutique that is as much an experience as it is a store. The boutique is so aesthetically distinct that shoppers are stopping to take photographs before they even step inside.
On the fashion front, Grade Africa has brought a bold dose of streetwear to The Zone. The brand’s designs, rooted in African identity, including its highly-sought after iconic sneakers, have become a magnet for style-conscious people looking to stand out.
The Zone turns up the fun
The centre has a wave of exciting entertainment updates. Ster-Kinekor is making substantial upgrades to its complex at The Zone to enhance the movie going experiences. This unique cinema complex, which shows both Hollywood and Bollywood, movies has rolled out its “Kids Cinema” concept to The Zone which includes its own foyer area, activity tables, a catering counter, bean bag seats and a slide and ball pool. Plus, two of the cinemas have received a luxurious makeover, and reopened as Cine Prestige theatres, turning any ordinary movie night into something extraordinary.
Ster-Kinekor has introduced a new level of thrills, challenges and fun with interactive activities such as axe throwing, a rage room, gel shot & nerf wars, archery tag and a splatter room, with its launch of the first SKX-PERIENCE interactive space at The Zone, created in partnership with Jozi X.
Never one to shy away from fun, The Zone also recently announced that Bounce is also set to arrive early in 2026. The popular trampoline park experience is sure to delight visitors of all ages, bringing a new level of energy and excitement to the precinct.
