Oskido’s Big Day Out is turning up the volume ahead of its third edition this November, announcing additional headliners to an impressive 2026 lineup alongside the formality of their partnership with FNB.
DJ Tira and DJ Sox aka Durban’s Finest together with DJ Cndo have joined the 2026 lineup.
Reinforcing Big Day Out’s commitment to showcasing the diversity of local music, this year’s festival will also celebrate Durban’s rich dance-music legacy and its defining influence on Mzansi’s music culture over the past three decades. From the influential Kwaito era to the sounds that continue to move audiences today, Durban has played a significant role in shaping the country’s dance-music landscape and has produced music that has resonated with and influenced generations.
This year’s edition of Oskido’s Big Day Out will pay homage to this important chapter in South African music history, bringing together established pioneers, influential DJs and artists whose sounds continue to transcend generations. These Durban musical legends will add even greater energy, musical diversity and dancefloor appeal to the festival’s two-stage experience, creating a celebration of the sounds, artists and cultural moments that have helped shape Mzansi’s musical identity.
Taking place on Saturday, 28 November 2026 at Huddle Park in Linksfield, Oskido’s Big Day Out will again bring together generations of music lovers for a full day celebrating the sounds, artists and cultural moments that have shaped SA music. This year’s Big Day Out is particularly special. Not only will we be celebrating Oskido’s birthday and also a significant milestone in his illustrious career with the Order of Ikhamanga, awarded to him by the presidency earlier this year in recognition of his outstanding contribution to South African music and culture.
