The first ever concept store by The North Face® in South Africa will be opening its doors to the public on 1st April, 2014 at the popular Canal Walk shopping centre in Cape Town.


As the premium outdoor brand gears up to re-launch in the South African outdoor and adventure market under distributors Slam Industries, consumers will now have the opportunity to source premium high tech apparel and equipment, often only seen on the high streets of big cities in Europe and North America or the peaks of the Alps and Himalaya.

The North Face® is breaking new ground and creating pioneering designs that set industry standard. Innovation, function, aesthetic, fit and finish – these are the five integral components of every single product The North Face® engineers. Product categories such as the Summit Series and Flight Series are designed and tested by members of our athlete team, and engineered using knowledge gained from their first-hand experience in the field.

Slam Industries will debut the FW’14 line, offering extensive technical and lifestyle product offerings that incorporate categories The North Face® has not offered in South Africa before, including trail running, footwear, equipment collections and the Summit Series collection, the very pinnacle of the product hierarchy.

The Canal Walk store will be followed with a store opening in Menlyn, Pretoria on the 1st May.
