Johannesburg, October 30, 2014 – With just under 63 days to wrap up another year of record-breaking entertainment experiences, Miller Genuine Draft popularly known as MGD announced their fresh take on New Years Eve with ‘Fresh Years Eve’ – a unique concept that redefines the biggest night of the year delivering a FRESH unique experience!
In its spirit of show biz innovation, with a fresh brand twist, MGD joins forces with three of South Africa’s premier Hip-hop record music labels, the multiple award winning label Dream Team SA, the label that is known to never sleep Motif Records and CashTime Entertainment best known for pushing the culture forward.
Together they will create a truly memorable unmatched New Year’s Eve experiences. Each one of the companies is tasked with curating a unique inaugural music experience especially designed for and staged at venues in three major cities in South Africa: East London, Durban and Johannesburg. The line-ups are limited only by the imaginations of these music and urban culture experts whose primary mandate is to keep it 100% local and deliver a FRESH COLLABORATION experience!
The collaborative team is made up of the record labels in addition to 3 top local promoters, one in each city: Eastern Cape’s Phindi ‘PH’ Madubela, Durban’s own godfather of entertainment Kgolo Temba and super cool-kid-all-grown-up Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane from Jozi. Together with the record labels in alignment with the brand’s ultimate goal of fresh musical collaboration, each will assist in delivering a night filled with live performances by the cream of South African talent, somewhat of a dream team experience.

Miller Fresh Year’s Eve partners with SA’s only print hip hop authority Hype Magazine and backed by the newly launched VUZU Amp, out of this world TV experience.
Each event will cater for 3 000 young adults, with tickets reasonably priced at R200 in all cities. Tickets go on sale mid November and will be open to fans over the age of 18.
