Jozi is in for a treat this season. The Union Bar is back and just in time for the happy season!

Having successfully launched this iconic brand of pop-up bars in previous years through collaborations with some of the world’s most iconic brands, such as Hendrick’s Gin, Bombay Sapphire, Black Bottle and recently Sailor Jerry Rum in Cape Town – The Union Bar is back in Johannesburg – this time in Melrose Arch.

The Union Bar strives on a specific criteria for each brand collaboration, which is that the brand needs to be übercool, must feature the potential of dreaming up cocktails never tasted before and provide a night out that is not only selfie- worthy, but a different experience every time.

The next instalment of The Union Bar features the up-and-coming, in-your-face, premium British Gin, Bulldog Gin. A modern take on perfectly balanced flavour, versatility and mixability. A gin as British as a bulldog can be, but with global appeal. It’s substance, style and attitude rolled into one is everything the Union Bar wants in a partner.

Made purely from wheat and water – triple distilled, and then distilled again with a unique blend of twelve botanicals, the bottle itself is gorgeous, and the possibilities for unforgettable cocktails endless.

With a range of specially designed cocktails by some of the best mixologists in the world, with names such as Attaboy!, The Queen’s G & Tea, Knick-Knack-Paddy-Whack and the Union Jack, be prepared to come back again and again.

With each brand collaboration the Union Bar’s look and feel changes to suit the brand identity accordingly bringing people together through good cocktails, special events, fantastic surroundings and ultimately good vibes. This time around guests can expect neon lights, British inspired elements and UV surprises when the lights go off creating an experience within itself.

The Union Bar Bulldog Gin will launch Friday, the 28th of October, until 16 December, at the Ex YDE Shop, H33D, The Piazza, Melrose Arch.
