Oreo Golden, the magical NEW spin on milk’s favourite cookie, is set to create a sense of childlike wonder at the wildly-popular OREO Wonder-Selfie activation in the City of Gold this Summer.

Here new and old Oreo fans will be able to get their hands on a one-of-a-kind Oreo Golden Selfie.

Back by popular demand, the larger than life ‘Wonder-Selfie machine’ will give fans the opportunity to go through the Oreo journey where, at the end of the rainbow, they will receive a digital print out of their face, impressed into the cream side of an image of an open OREO cookie. In addition to the previous Chocolate or Original flavour options, fans will now also get the chance to create their unique Oreo Golden Selfie, which they can also share with their friends on social media.

Consumers can head to The Zone at Rosebank from 2 to 4 December 2016 to share in the Oreo Golden fun!

“The new Oreo Golden, with vanilla flavoured cookies on both sides, gives you a FULL-ON vanilla taste,” says Lara Tehini, Mondelez Category Lead for Biscuits & Groceries. “With the return of the popular Oreo Wonder-Selfie we hope to create new ‘Golden’ wonderfilled moments for Jozi’s Oreo fans, just in time for the holiday season.”

Finally, continuing to play on the childlike sense of wonder that Oreo represents, the new Oreo TV commercial introduces Oreo Golden, with a young boy singing about his dad switching the original Oreo to the Golden one – with a click of his finger and a little bit of Wonderfilled magic.

Look out for the NEW Oreo Golden – a lightly coloured vanilla cream biscuit with a vanilla centre – in stores nationwide in 44gm snack packs or the standard 176gm box. It’s sure to make this festive season a Golden one!
