One More Night is a brand new tribute show that will feature both the story, and the iconic music of legend Phil Collins.

For the first time in South Africa, this superb production will showcase all of his greatest pop songs and ballads at Emperors Palace, including the chart-topping hits, Another Day in Paradise, Sussudio, Groovy Kind Of Love and You’ll Be In My Heart.

On stage at the Theatre of Marcellus for three weeks from 17 November to 4 December, this dynamic two-hour concert will be performed live by the multi-talented South African drumming vocalist, Victor James Chapman, backed by an incredible 10-piece band. What sets One More Night apart is that the classic Collins’ “two drummer” line-up forms an integral part of the act, with a tight horn section and glorious guitar solos that will make the songs come to life.

With a natural stage presence, huge energy as a drummer and warm, yet edgy singing voice, Chapman is the perfect frontman for One More Night. He has toured extensively in South Africa, sharing the stage with Wonderboom, Sugar Drive, Mean Mr Mustard, Dozi and Tree63, to name a few. In Nashville in 2001 he was nominated as one of the Top 5 vocalists by the National Association of Artists, competing against over 3 000 entries from all over the globe. As a World Vision Artist he is also an ambassador for this organisation that works to alleviate hunger and poverty worldwide.

One More Night is produced by acclaimed local creative team Add-Life Productions, who since 2007 have become known for their beautifully crafted original Afrikaans musicals such as Sneeuwitjie, Aspoestertjie, Droomkind, Dawid, Ester and Houtkruis. They also produced the South African staging of Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, and adapted the hugely successful Liefling for stage. Following the Broadway Concert From The Footlights, they are excited to put together a tribute show of international standard.
