RCA Records/Sony Music International announces the signing of Nigerian singer/songwriter WizKid to a multi-album worldwide deal, cementing Sony Music’s commitment towards making Africa a musical repertoire center of the world. The international singer/songwriter has stood as a leader in the Afropop movement, helping to cross over the sound with his infectious and upbeat music.

WizKid releases “Sweet Love,” his first single under RCA Records/Sony Music International. Written and produced by Sarz, the single is currently available across all digital music service providers.

The accompanying video highlights WizKid’s immense popularity throughout Africa and the pandemonium that follows him whenever he goes on tour. Wizkid said that the song is “an introduction” to those who don’t know him yet. The visual is made up from content of my live shows throughout Africa, which will give my fans a real insight and feel of me performing back home.”
