TRACE URBAN STILL THE COOLEST BRAND AMONG THE YOUTH

TRACE Urban nabs coolest accolades at this year’s Generation Next Awards.

TRACE Urban has earned itself yet another set of accolades at the Generation Next survey in the categories: Coolest TV Channel and Coolest TV Music Channel.
TRACE Africa, which was launched in September 2016 and is geared at playing only the best in urban African music, was voted top 5 Coolest TV Music Channel – a resounding endorsement to African music.

Generation Next has become an industry performance benchmark for top performing South African brands.

Now in its 13th year, the annual youth trends and insights gathering was held at the Sandton Convention Centre on May 11, 2017.

Senior Vice President for TRACE Southern Africa, Leo Manne, says this acknowledgement is an honour: “As 2017 marks TRACE Urban’s 10th year anniversary, it is encouraging to get this kind of validation for the ninth year in a row. We aim to continue putting in the work to ensure we are the youth’s favourite spot for urban entertainment.”

To showcase the winning brands and trends, the annual Generation Next supplement will be published in the Sunday Times on the 14th May 2017.
