SOPHIE BACK TO THE SMALL SCREEN WITH NEW TALK SHOW

Weldun Media in partnership with Avanti Communications announces the launch of a brand-new talk show, Hashtags, hosted by Actress Sophie Lichaba, Radio Personality Mantsoe Pout, Celebrity Publicist Jarred Doyle and Personality Francois Louw.

“The hosts bring their unique blend of personalities, humour and insider knowledge to various topics that affect millennials which we term “Hashtags”. Says Juvais Dunn, Executive Producer/Managing Director at Weldun Media.

“After looking at what is currently on offer in the TV market space, we felt that there is a gap for a talk show that addresses real issues faced by millennials, whilst giving Africa a voice to the rest of the world. We have always been passionate about opening up the industry, so choosing talent for the show was very strategic,” Continues Dunn.

Hashtags is set to launch on the 2nd of March 2019 at 16:00 on eExtra, with a primary focus on social and lifestyle topics.

“Weldun`s aim for the show is to create Content that will be rooted in the untapped African continent by engaging with Africans about topics that is relevant to them. We also want to penetrate all the African territories and have presence around the world, for this reason, Weldun Media has strategically partnered with Avanti Communications Group who have a footprint across the Globe and have made our vision possible”. Hashtags will air on eExtra Channel 105 on Openview and 195 on DStv Saturdays at 16:00 with repeats on Sundays at 10:45 and Mondays at 8:30.
