KFC South Africa opened the doors to their first-ever mega pop-up store this week, Kentucky Town that will host fans until the 5th of December 2021 at The Zone @ Rosebank, Johannesburg.
In celebration of their milestone, KFC is bringing fans a limited-edition Birthday menu that will only be available in the pop-up store which includes KFC meals that fans have never and may never see again.
The store will also be selling its famous original sauces, ‘Zinger Sauce’ and ‘Dunked Sauce’ as well as treats like Crispy Chicken Skins and the Doughnut Zinger Burger.
KFC invites loyal chicken lovers to join in the celebrations and visit the pop-up to enjoy the Limited-Edition Birthday Menu, Never-Before-Never-Again KFC experiences, Limited-Edition Gear and so much more!
All proceeds from the pop-up store gear will be donated towards the KFC Add Hope initiative to help continue to provide nutritious meals to underprivileged children in South Africa.
LIMITED-EDITION 50TH BIRTHDAY MENU & FIRST-EVER SAUCE SALES
Every day for 11 days the pop-up will be serving a Limited-Edition KFC Birthday Menu with craveable celebratory KFC meals. Limited-edition treats include a KFC Chizza Slice, a Doughnut Zinger Burger and Crispy Chicken Skins. The brand also has a few treats up their sleeves for loyal followers, with the return of some of the most in-demand meals from the past like the KFC Streetwise Chow and Spicy Chips.
Getting saucy, for the first time ever, KFC will be selling their famous original sauces, the ‘Zinger Sauce’ and ‘Dunked Sauce’, so guests at the store can take their favourite sauces home to serve with their homemade meals this December.
LIMITED-EDITION BIRTHDAY DRIP
What’s a party without a fresh new look? Visit Kentucky Town and get your hands on their limited-edition Birthday Gear. The range includes a limited-edition Birthday Collection of KFC classics (Tees, shorts, bucket hats, hoodies, socks, and tech gadgets) as well as a variety of collab collections with some of KFC’s favourite design partners – David “Slaying Goliath” Tshabalala, Thesis Lifestyle and Yay Abe.
They’ll also be selling a collab range with some of Mzansi’s freshest up-and-coming talent, the winners who took top spots in the KFC Streetwise Culture Crew design challenge – Mzwanele Fani, Morena Moletsane and the CancelWear duo Karabo Phakathi and Senzo Nkabinde.
NEVER-BEFORE-NEVER-AGAIN EXPERIENCES
Kentucky Town will be serving up tons of celebration feels. Guests visiting the pop-up can personalise their own ‘Colonel Yourself’ Tees, create awesome content in a giant KFC Bucket and even blend your own 11 Herbs & Spices secret family recipe.
And as it’s a Birthday, KFC in their true generosity style is giving their Birthday Gifts to you. Stand a chance to win Birthday Gifts at the store by playing the ‘Add Hope Birthday Gift Game’ or simply sharing your memories from the store online to win hampers.
