DON’T MISS COMIC CON AFRICA’S INTERNATIONAL CELEBRITY LINEUP

by

One part of Comic Con Africa that gets fans super excited is the chance to meet their favourite pop culture celebs, and in 2025 the con is bringing a collection of pop culture’s finest film and series screen icons. The festival has wrapped up their international celebrity announcements for this year’s show and there is something for everyone.

For those who love the fantasy of Supernatural and the Fantastic Beasts film series, to fans of the gritty, noir-esque dark humour of the TV adaptation of The Boys, the 2025 festival is bringing Big Names to South Africa for everyone to meet live at the Joburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, come 28 to 31 August 2025.

On The Main Stage

The Main Stage is where loads of the celeb action goes down. Here is where fans can join in Q&As to ask the stars their burning questions, and be fascinated by anecdotes from the stars behind the characters.

IRL Brushes with Celebrity

Comic Con Africa is an interactive experience, and that includes the opportunity of interacting with your favourite celebs face-to-face – can you imagine shaking your hero’s hand, having them say your name and sign your cherished merch, or grabbing a professional photo with them to keep as a memento forever? These are all possibilities at Comic Con Africa. Autograph and Photograph ops must be purchased as an add-on to an existing Comic Con Africa ticket.
