Over three days at MamaMagic Baby and Parenting Expo, Calpol stepped beyond the shelves and into the everyday conversations parents and caregivers have when childhood pain, fever, teething and sniffles become part of the family routine.

As the Official Headline Sponsor of South Africa’s leading parenting and baby expo, held from 3–5 July at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Calpol used the platform to connect directly with families, listen to their questions and share practical information on caring for children through different stages of growth.

Throughout the expo, the Calpol stand became a touchpoint for parents seeking reassurance, guidance and trusted support. From first-time parents with questions about infant care to caregivers navigating the needs of older children, conversations reflected the real moments that shape parenting: a restless night with a fever, the discomfort of teething, or the uncertainty of choosing the right relief for a child’s age and stage.

These engagements also created an opportunity for Calpol to introduce families to its expanded range, now supporting infants from as young as one month old through to children aged 12 years. Caregivers were also able to discover the brand’s two new flavours, Berry Blaze and Orange, developed to offer parents options when managing common childhood pain and fever.
