West Africa stand up!! AKA is making his way to you! The multi-award winning hip hop artist has been billed to perform in Ghana on Sunday, August 11th, as part of the O News Live show. Not only is this the first live shooting and recording of O News Live, but this will also be the first time AKA performs on Ghanaian soil, and it will definitely be one for the books.

So get down to Silver Star South Terrace, be part of O News Live in Ghana and get the ‘black star experience’. Other artists on the line up include R2BEES, Sarkodie, Kaakie and 4×4.
One of the most talked about events of this weekend is IT billionaire Robert Gumede’s 50th birthday celebration. Gumede has booked AKA to perform at his “Thanksgiving six to six music festival”, which will also see the likes of Rick Ross, Keith Sweat, Khuli Chana, Zahara and Zakes Bantwini on stage. This is not the first time AKA shares the stage with the big boss, Mr Rick Ross. AKA was opening act when Ross performed in Cape Town in the year 2010, or as AKA woulld say: “Rick Ross was my closing act”.
