THE ANNUAL SPRING FIESTA ATTRACTS OVER 13 000 PEOPLE

Amid the cold front that hit Mzansi this past weekend, the ultimate spring experience went down on Saturday and welcomed the season in true party style. Over 13 000 concert goers braved the weather to come out and celebrate Spring’s arrival at the Wild Waters in Ekurhuleni.

 

With an insane line-up of over 60 performers featured on 5 stages, organisers promised 13 hours of dance music and entertainment and they surely delivered . More than 13 000 music lovers got to experience it live and like never before.

International powerhouse DJs Dennis Ferrer and Andre Hommen held it down and entertained nearly 10 000 fans on the Soul Candi Main floor alongside some of SA’s finest talent. The crowd favourite were undoubtedly miCASA and SA DJ export Black Coffee who got the fans going crazy during their sets. The crowd chanting could be heard from miles away when miCASA performed their latest hit ‘Jika’. Fresh off the plane from Ibizi, tag-team Euphonik and Fresh further entertained the masses and needed a standing ovation for their musical contribution.

SAMA winner AKA killed it on the popular hip-hop stage while Sphe and Naves proved why they are part of SA’s hiphop DJ elite. MsCosmo completely the line-up with her sexy hiphop tunes. DJ Franky and Lulo were huge favourites on their respective other dance floors, while Admiral and Appleseed kept the Ragga fans ‘iry’ all night long.

The who’s who of the entertainment industry Bonang Matheba, Pearl Thusi, Lunga Tshabalala, Lerato Kganyago among others also came out to celebrate.

Spring Fiesta year three was a huge success and so begins the planning for 2014. See you there!
