South African home grown brand Frankies, the producers of a Traditional range of soft drinks and ice lolly flavours, launched its new retro van and hit the streets of Gauteng, taking consumers back to when they were young.

From the 17th of March until the 5th of May, Frankies Flashback Activation is urging consumers to spot the new retro Frankies van which will be visiting markets, universities, media houses, malls, varsities, office parks, and railway stations in the Gauteng area. Be on the lookout for the new retro Frankies van and not only sample the eight-unique flavours but also stand a chance to win amazing retro prizes and Frankies Product hampers.

National and regional print, digital and radio partners will also be giving consumers the opportunity to win product hampers by spotting the van’s location on the day. All you must do is take a picture of yourself at the Frankies van and tweet or post it to @FrankiesSA on twitter or on the Frankies official Facebook page ( using the campaign hashtag #FrankiesFlashback

Frankies Olde Soft Drink Company, founded by husband and wife team Mike and Paula Schmidt in 2006 and was acquired by Clover SA in 2015. Clover’s large national distribution channel, increased the availability of Frankies tremendously and is now available nationwide at leading retail stores.
