Didier Drogba, one of the greatest football legends in the world, was officially announced this weekend at the Special Olympics Arizona Summer Games with 1,600 Athletes and 1,300 volunteers gathered.
Special Olympics International has announced that acclaimed football legend, Didier Drogba, will be named a Special Olympics Global Ambassador to support social inclusion!
The announcement event took place on Saturday, 5 May at Raymond S. Kellis High School in Glendale, Arizona.
During his acceptance speech, Drogba said he was honored to be on board as a Global Ambassador for Special Olympics. He will use this role to help build a more inclusive world for everyone!
