South Africa’s best friends of Comedy, Goliath and Goliath, in association with Melrose Arch and Comedy Central Africa, brings you The Goliath Comedy Experience 2018 to celebrate the 2nd birthday of the Goliath Comedy Club.
The Goliath Comedy Club, officially launched The Goliath Comedy Experience as their inaugural festival in 2016, which has become the club’s staple way of celebrating their birthday.
#GoliathX2018 will be spreading ‘the funny’ over a four day period this year with the biggest and newest names in comedy, 6 – 9 June 2018, at Africa’s premium comedy club, the Goliath Comedy Club, Melrose Arch.
Comedy greats and members of the Goliath and Goliath family, Jason, Nicholas and Donovan Goliath will grace the stage during the festival and deliver material bound to leave you in stitches. Their performance will give you a taste of the Goliath trio’s country tour later this year.
Household comedians such as Joey Rasdien, Robby Collins, Mpho Popps, Dalin Oliver, Yaaseen Barnes and many more will keep the audience entertained during The Goliath Comedy Experience.

WEDNESDAY: Wednesday 6 June 2018 – Catch comedy greats such as Joey Rasdien, Mpho Popps, Robby Collins and more, delivering their rendition of the popular and legendary AWEDNESDAY show. ALMOST SOLD OUT!
The Water Shortage Comedy Tour [Day Zero]: Thursday 7 June 2018 – The Goliath Comedy Club will host The Water Shortage Comedy Tour by four of SA’s reputed stand-up comics: Kagiso ‘KG’ Mokgadi, Carl Weber, Yaaseen Barnes and Dalin Oliver!
30IN5: Friday 8 June 2018 – Prepare yourself for rapid fire comedy! 30 comedians will all be doing 5 minutes each with no host. The line-up is a mix of well-established comics. There’s no specific structure, each comic draws a number out of a hat and depending on the number they choose, that’s where they are on the line-up. It’s fast paced, witty, entertaining and of course, funny!
GOLIATH and GOLIATH X TWINS ON DECKS: Saturday 9 June 2018 – SA’s funny trio, Donovan, Jason and Nicholas Goliath together with DJ’s TWINS ON DECKS, will bring you a potent collaborated comedy show. SUN INTERNATIONAL TOUR ANNOUCEMENT!
HEADLINERS: Wednesday 6 and Saturday 9 June 2018 – The most popular shows of The Goliath Comedy Experience this year, featuring a mix of South African greats is the AWEDNESDAY show and of course the ménage of the comedy club, GOLIATH and GOLIATH X TWINS ON DECKS.
COMEDY CENTRAL AFRICA ROASTS: Right on the heels of the Comedy Central Roast of Somizi, Comedy Central Africa will be facilitating a number of roast battles over the course of The Goliath Comedy Experience.
