South Africa’s favorite artisanal gin brand has pushed the envelope once again with the launch of Inverroche Gin Schools in Gauteng. Through these gin schools Inverroche will teach people the wonders of gin, educate them about the brand and teach them the basics of creating quality gin through an innovative experience at the Inverroche Gin School.
I was honoured to be invited to make my own gin at the school last night. Like my very own gin. How exciting.
So the Inverroche Gin School offers an educational and exciting journey through the endless world of Gin.
This three-hour experience, presented by a knowledgeable expert, allows guests in groups of up to 12 people, to be taken back in time to the spirit’s origin hundreds of years ago, all the way to the great popularity it enjoys today. Enjoy artisanal cocktails paired with canapé treats, learn new things, and have a laugh about facts you would barely believe to be true. A great excursion for friends, colleagues or anyone looking for a unique activity and experience in Gauteng.
“Some see a tasting room; we see a gin distiller in every guest”
These one of a kind, multisensory, experiences will allow curious gin lovers the opportunity to learn about the brand through a gin distillation master class and have an opportunity to distil their very own gin, from selecting the botanicals to bottling and labelling their one of a kind bottle of gin – a first in South Africa, as true to the pioneering ethos of the Inverroche.
My girl and I had the most fun and apart from having our very own gin, we are already planning to go back with the rest of the sqaud.
