MiWayLife has identified working mothers as a market segment that has been historically under-serviced by the industry. Working mothers play an extremely important role in the family and MiWayLife believe that more can be done to develop and support them through relevant, targeted products and services.
“Women make up around 35% of our current book,” says Craig Baker, CEO of MiWayLife. “But we believe that, despite the shifts towards women taking the lead in important purchasing decisions, they remain under-represented as a group, and therein lies an opportunity to find out what they want and need so that we can create products to address their particular challenges and aspirations.”
The event is more than just a means for businesses to access this important social demographic. The focus of the event will be towards offering working mothers access to the inspiration, products and services they need to make their lives work in an environment conducive to relaxation and self-care. Guests will be able to browse the solutions being presented to them, listen to and learn from respected and inspiring speakers, or retreat into a book over a cup of coffee before taking advantage of the range of beauty and relaxation treatments on offer.
“We support new initiatives that align with our business,” continues Baker. “Our intention is to work together with Janice (Managing Director of Working Mothers Expo) and her team, to develop this into a significant and meaningful event on the calendar of working mothers and mothers in general.”
